Three Actresses on The Dictator Short List

Anna Faris, Gillian Jacobs, and Kristen Wiig are all on the short list to play the female lead inThe Dictator,according toThe Hollywood Reporter. 

This is the latest comedy fromBrunoandBoratcreators Larry Charles and Sacha Baron Cohen.

The comedy calls for heavy improvisation and is inspired by Saddam Hussein's novel"Zabibah and the King."Cohen will star as both a goat-herder and an oppressive dictator.

Faris is known for her comedic roles, includingHouse BunnyandTake Me Home Tonight.  She is set to star inWhat's Your Number?later this year. 

Wiig starred inPaula couple months ago and will play the lead inBridesmaids.

Jacobs is the lesser-known of the three, but she can regularly been seen on NBC'sCommunity.

The Dictatoris expected to hit theaters on May 11, 2012.
